Mr. Preston L. Peak, 54 passed away June 24, 2010 in Boston, MA. A native of Asheville and resident of Marion he was a son of Mrs. Doris Peak who passed January 5, 2001 and Mr. Arthur Peak who passed in 1982.
Mr. Peak was a 1974 graduate of T.C. Roberson High School in Asheville and retired from Baxter Health Care in Marion after 32 years of employment.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mrs. Melinda Peak with Georgina Williams of Marion; brothers, Mr. James Debrew (Patricia) and Mr. Thomas Peak both of Asheville and Mr. Woodrow Peak (Brenda) of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Ms. Deborah Peak of Atlanta, GA; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. Dr. Michael S. Smith will officiate, burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Asheville.
