Beulah Jane McCain of 209 West College St. departed this life Wed. July 14, 2010. A native of Rutherfordton and resident of Black Mountain for 79 years, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Ora Ledbetter Logan.
Mrs. McCain was united in matrimony to Gurline Warren and Lawrence McCain,, both preceded her in death. She retired from the Black Mountain Center after 26 years of employment.
Surviving are her sons, Jasper G.Warren and Melvin S. Warren (Wanda) of Black Mountain; sister, Eura Turner of Washington, DC; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, special friends and caregivers, Sylvia Carpenter and Wanda Warren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Betty S. Brown; brother, Louis Logan, sisters, Velcie Turner, Dorothy Baxter and Eva Hamilton.
Services will be held Monday at Noon in Mills Chapel Baptist Church where she was a member of the Flower Committee. Rev. Bobby Hill and Presidinging Elder Herbert Grant will officiate, burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
