Sarah Louise Shivers of 66-A Klondyke Ave. died Friday, July 16, 2010. A life long resident of Asheville she was a daughter of Clarence Morgan and Mary Smith Shivers of Asheville.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her son, Jarques T. Shivers; daughters, Deshawnna L. Shivers and Donna L. Shivers; brothers and sisters; special friend, Dennis "Sliding Rock" Bruton; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Hospitality Committee. Rev. John W. Brewster will officiate, burial will be in Violet Hill Cemetery.
