I extend my condolences to the family of Howard McGlohon. I just found out about it on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Howard was a good friend when I attended North Carolina Central University. He always treated me as a younger sister and gave me advice that made sense. Sometimes he would be humorous about it; making me laugh, and sometimes he would be serious; making me think. I was thrilled to see him at NCCU's Homecoming in 2009 for the first time in many years. I also got to meet his lovely family. Howard still had his boyish face and wonderful smile! I pray that God continues to bless you and to ease your sorrow.
Sincerely,
Theresa McAllister

Dear McGlohon family,
Losing a loved one is so hard, I am so sorry for your loss being I too just lost my dad a month to the day that you lost your precious Howard. But my experience is that we will have bad days but also good days which is when we remember the fun or silly things about our loved ones that will actually make us smile. It will take time as we miss them but they aren't ever really gone as we carry them in our hearts for ever and continue to as we pass along stories to the generations to come and they too will smile and remember.
God Bless,

My condolences and prayers to the family of the late, GREAT Howard McGlohon. Howard was a very nice, professional person. He will be sorely missed in the legal community. He loved his family and was always happy to talk about the achievements of his children. I always enjoyed his sense of humor. I know that he is in a better place, God loved him best. Take care and continue to be blessed.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Mr. McGlohon's sudden passing. It was an honor to work with him in the judicial system. I admired his smile and professionalism.
I know that words cannot ease your pain but look to God for strength and he will see you through the difficult times. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Martha, I'm so sorry to hear about Howard's passing. Doing contract work for him over the years was such a blessing. He was such a gentleman. His smile and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him. If there is anything I can do for you, please call. You and the kids are in my prayers. Debra Pitts

Martha,& children, Legolia, Cynyjia and Brenda,
It was a shock to hear that Howard had died. No one can be prepared for this kind of situation.
It is apparent that he is loved by each of you and that he loved you.
No one can tell you how you should feel, but remember there are those who care for you and yours.
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
Remember God is with you at all times even though it may not appear that HE is.
My twin sisters, Mollie James and Ida Everette often tell how nice Howard and your family were to them when they attended SJSr.Family Reunions.
Please accept our expression of SYMPATHY with love.

Martha, I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. A dear friend with a heart of gold. I have been blessed to have had Howard represent me as my lawyer when I lived in Asheville. I attended Hill Street Church, sang with you in the choir and watch the children grow. Howard was respected and admired by me and many others. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. My thoughts are with you and your family.

To Martha, Madison and Trae,
I send my deepest sympathy. I will never forget Howard and what a wonderful husband and father he was to you and what he meant to us when we all attended the Hill St. Baptist Church. Be blessed and know God has him now.

I am sorry to hear about Howard. I knew him well when he worked at Broughton, and I was a judge there. I have also seen Howard on many occasions since. I have always had a high opinion of, and respect for Howard as a man, and as a lawyer. I have referred cases to him when someone needed a good lawyer in Asheville. I will miss my friend Howard. My best wishes are with his family to whom he was devoted.
